Tour of Idaho Fruit Industry, University of Idaho Pomology Research Program

6:00 AM-6 PM: Tour of the Idaho fruit and wine-producing areas, Symms Fruit Ranch packing operation and ‘Pink Lady’ apple orchard, Henggeler high density ‘Gala’ apple, Western Laboratories, U of Idaho Pomology Research Orchards and vineyards rootstock trial, apple canopy architectures project, irrigation project, grape research, and laboratory. Lunch at Western Laboratories, Parma, Idaho.

Dinner on your own.

NC-140 Business meetings at Marriot Hotel, Meridian, Idaho.

8:30 AM: Welcome by Dr. Don Thill, Associate Dean and Director of Idaho Experiment Station, University of Idaho and Meeting Introduction by Essie Fallahi, University of Idaho.

9:00 AM: Meeting Agenda and NC-140 Admin

10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Trial Coordinators Reports

Noon: Lunch (Served at the conference)

1:00 PM-3 PM: Trial Coordinators Reports

3:30 PM-5 PM: State Reports

7 PM-10:00 PM: Group Dinner at Good Wood restaurant, Eagle-Meridian area.
